A member of The Explorers Club, he continues to support scientific explorations of all disciplines. His upcoming book is a narrative rich in resilience, hope, and rediscovering purpose while navigating the tension between two dreams and finding the courage to pivot at the right time. Beyond his professional endeavors, his commitment to mentorship shines through his work with medical students as a Professor of Medicine, his service to veterans at the VA, and his interactions with pediatric cancer patients at Children’s Hospitals in both Nashville and abroad.
